The story behind the name.
One person, five disciplines, and a fairly unusual career path. Here's how marketing, AI, drones, video and music ended up under the same roof.
It started with marketing.
Paul cut his teeth in digital marketing — building and managing Google Ads accounts, obsessing over conversion rates, and learning the unglamorous truth that most businesses don't have a traffic problem, they have a clarity problem. That work became Kiwi Conversions, helping NZ businesses turn clicks into customers through Google Ads, SEO and website design.
Why AI matters to Paul
When AI tools arrived, Paul saw the same thing he'd always chased in marketing: a way to remove friction. Now he helps businesses use ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity to cut admin and move faster — without the hype.
The drone obsession
What began as a hobby became a craft. Paul flies both commercial and FPV drones — the fast, cinematic kind that thread through spaces and put you inside the shot. Recent flights include reels shot in Mallorca.
Behind the camera
Aerial work led naturally into full video production — brand films, event coverage and cinematic wedding stories built for how people actually watch content today.
On the decks
Music has always been the other side of Paul. As the founder of Kiwi DJs, he reads a room and runs a night — from corporate functions to weddings.
Technology, creativity, music — and a bit of everything.
Outside of client work Paul is a genuine tinkerer: always testing a new AI tool, editing a personal vlog, or flying something. You can follow the personal side — vlogs, DJ sets and flights — on YouTube.
